I'm David Dwyer, a mechanical engineering student who designs competition robots, machines carbon fiber, and builds things that move. I was Design Lead for two FIRST Tech Challenge teams. Our robots were made mostly from parts we designed and manufactured ourselves.
Each project covers the problem, the design iterations, how the parts were made, and how it performed. Most include a 3D model you can rotate.

Carbon fiber tank-drive chassis with a turret, a five-version custom flywheel, and an intake that covers 3× the area. 138 custom parts.
